Originally from Queens, Dr. Benito built her academic foundation at The City College of New York, where she studied biochemistry alongside her pre-med coursework, and went on to gain valuable research experience at respected institutions including the CUNY Research Foundation, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the U.S.
Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense. She later earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training at Southampton Hospital, giving her strong roots in the community she continues to serve.
Board certified in family medicine, she has cared for the East End of Long Island since 2010 and brings a particular focus to family medicine, preventive medicine, and women’s health.

Dr. Benito is fantastic. She is bright, wise, bubbly, friendly and caring. Always comes in with a smile on her face and wants to know how she can help. She brings up things that other doctors have frankly never thought of, and encourages reaching out to other doctors when necessary. Simply a wonderful primary care doctor. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Dr. Benito is knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She answers all of your questions efficiently and thoughtfully. She is a great primary care physician. The Southampton location is beautifully clean with some of the nicest nurses and receptionist you can meet.
